Default Walbro 450 Install (Finished!)

*********(The pump is installed and working fine so far. See page 5 for details)*******I am currently attempting to install a Walbro 450 into a 2011 GMC Sierra (Flex Fuel). So far I got the bed off and the pump out. I am a little stumped as to how to run the hoses for the new pump.
To me all it looks like I would need to do is to run a fuel hose from the Walbro to where the stock pump was connected and it should work just as the factory setup, but I have been told that I need to run a t-fitting to the factory fill tube? I don't see how this would work, because the factory fill tube(I believe this is the black tube with the green o-ring) is connected to the bottom of the bucket(there is a raised section in the bottom of the bucket where the fill tube with o-ring slides into when the buckets lid is installed) and the top of the fill tube is connected to the gray lid. It would be just like stock except for the white cradle that held the stock pump in place wont work with the walbro. Maybe I am missing something? My way seems easy, but the whole t-fitting thing just throws me off. I am at a stand still till i figure this out.

The second to last picture is with the Walbro. Thats how I was thinking it should go. I am also not sure what to do with the little ground wire that the stock pump has. Does it matter that the Walbro doesn't have one?

I realized that the pump is too tall to connect to the factory connection. The bucket lid will not fit on. I need to figure something out.

can you post a pic of the whole bucket assembly? I'm removing all the internals and shoving a 4303 in mine here this weekend. Want to see if it could fit or if I have to matchine a new hat and mount for the pump

It came with the pump and is suppose to be E85 compatible. I also bought two feet of gates submersible fuel hose thats compatible with E85. Cost me about $35 a foot.

Can you post a pic of the assmebly as to why it's not fitting? The 450 shouldn't be much bigger if any than the stocker, maybe just as the base.

Also, where's your bed? You're doing this swap in a carport?
