Actually just went out and measured it. The Hotchkis rear bar is 1"

I originally had the Hotchkis coils and leafs in the truck and then I picked up the sway bar from Bruce. I was trying to find the matching bar for the front, but they discontinued the TVS kit.

The Rear bar was actually hurting me, that along with the caltracs were keeping the back end way too stiff making it come around way too easy. Kinda contradictory, but pulling one of the links helped with weight transfer going into a corner.

The cal tracks, I could definitely see causing an issue. That is not at all what they were intended for.

What is the rear sway bar doing and how is that affecting what you were trying to do? Are you sure It's not because you don't have the matching Front bar?

I wasn't aware they discontinued the Hotchkiss TVS kit.

The back end of the truck was too stiff and the front was too soft. Both ends of the truck were fighting each other. Ideally it should be the opposite. If I upgrade the front bar I can probably hook the rear back up, But the Caltracs might not have a future in the truck. Hotchkis discontinued the Silverado TVS kit a couple of years ago. Their 2" front coil springs are still on ebay. they are clearancing out all of their stock.

Just noticed you're on Pro-Touring, hah.

Glad you made it out to Hotchkis.
Sorry to hear about your trans. I guess it could've been worse. Glad you have an extra 80.

Left a message of there to.
I'll ask here to.
How are the brakes holding up?
Do you think they're overkill for a DDer? 07 Tahoe

Thanks

Yeah trans could have been worse. It's in the works now. I hope to have it back by the middle of this week and get it swapped in bu the weekend. The brakes are holding up well. I have a set of green stuff pads in my girlfriends silverado and they work great. They are a little dusty, but that's pretty much the only trade off.

Little update, Just not of my truck haha.

Got the girlfriend's truck lowered for her. She's signed up for the next Hotchkis event. Did a 3/6 Drop on it. Belltech Pro coils up front and a flip kit with a McGaughys C-Notch in the rear and a set of Belltech Street Performance shocks.

Already have a set of EBC Green-Stuff pads and Rotors on the front. The truck handles pretty well now. Going to align it tomorrow.

As for my truck, my other transmission is in the works now. I'm hoping to have it back by mid week. The driveshaft is going to have the balance checked and swap the yoke out. Also finishing up my new exhaust set up and have a front sway bar on the way.

I went with the belltech bar. The hellwig was a little pricy.

We've had her truck for a year or so now. I'm really digging the way it looks.
