Been working on the box I little.
Some body work small pin holes in the box and rolled the fenders lips.
I'm no body guy but wanted to try it my self think it will turn out nice.
Tubs cut out and new ones put together they are kinda a pain to put together need 2 people to do it would work best.
Tubs need to be worked to be nice and round.

Working on the tubs still got my holes marked and cut out.
I made a template wheel tub from card board so I could get the shape of the body marked out on the tub.
This is how I did it and seamed like to best way to me.
I put my template dub into the fender and traced in small amounts what I needed to trim. So check trim check trim ect till I got it nice.

Now I need to trim the tub itself make it smaller and transfer that template I made over .

The tubs will be no wider then the frame.

Trans has a 4000 stall with trans brake and I put line lock in also.
Line lock is a pain do to abs system. Cant bleed the brakes and have a abs light now and it dings also. Cant shut it off with the tuner need the dealer tool I think.

Took the truck for a test run been working on a tune for it.
After a year of wrenching on it no play time I finally got to try it all out with some boost.
Did a burn out first one!!! Also tried the trans brake that's a fun switch!!!

That th400 is night and day compared to the 4l60.
All I can say is 5 lbs feels like more then double then when I first got it.

I want more power!!!!

Front rims came in 17x7 not what I ordered but ok 17x4.5 was what I ordered so wanted to get them mounted and could not find a tire to match so decided to fit them first to see how they looked well just my luck!!! Get the truck up pull the spares I got on the front and well they are the wrong bolt pattern 5 inch c/c not 5.5!!! bummer glad I could not find tires now my receipt says 5.5 box says 5 so they are going back hope the back rims are right or back they go also. Rear diff cover with brace and qa1 shocks.

Will be starting the 4 link build next week I hope.
I will take as many pics as I can for you guys as I go, This will be a long build as I am busy with work. And this is my first time doing something like this so I hope all goes well
If any of you have any input or questions feel free to input.

I have been working on the tub I have been doing lots of trimming the tub will hold a 16 inch tire tight frame to inside of box with roled fenders.
The only reason I am doing this is because my box was rusting in the fenders and I was not liking that so this was what I had to do so I'm set for a new rear end if I ever do that.

Wheel tubs pretty much done
All I have to do is seam sealer and line x the tubs.
I'm not sure yet if I'm going to step notch the frame yet depends on the ride height.

Made some progress got a lot done till I had a knee injury was at a stand still for a while but getting back at it. Got some more welding to do on the boxing then hang the rear in.
I am going to send the rear away to get powder coated ones its all done. Hoping to get the rear back under this weekend.
