Default PROJECT: Looking for some more ponies

Hey guys I have been a lurker for some time on this forum figured it was time to throw my project thread up. This is my 2003 Ext cab S10, I bought it from a local guy which happens to be a member on here/ls1tech. I was deployed to Iraq and was saving all my monies to build a LS swapped s10. Well one day while breezing through the adds i strolled across TJ's truck and 3 weeks later i went home on R&R during my deployment and bought it for a great price(march 2012). (less than what i would have into building one myself and everything i wanted in a s10). Anyways I have owned it a little over a year now and It has been an outstanding truck just like Tj told me turn key start everytime haven't had a single problem with it, overall just a great driver. I have done some small things too it too kinda make it my own, while discovering the need to make it faster. I will start the thread off to get you all up to speed on what I have done and whats in store for it.

Specs on the truck
2003 S10 ext cab. 2wd

Engine: 2004 5.3L
224-224 on a 114 XER lobe
7.400 1-piece pushrods
Comp dual spring kit with titanium retainers
Walbro 255lph intank pump

Transmission:
2006 4l80E

Rear end:
Zexel torsion diff and 4.10 gears

Thanks for looking.

This brings me too where I am now currently the truck is parked again till next summer I only get to work on it when i get leave from the army to go back and home and tinker with it, other than that is sits in my garage in Michigan.

All year correct dash wiring harness and gauge cluster and a cheap CAI i picked up off of ebay to modify to fit in the s10.

Ripped the new cluster apart to clean it and put in LS1 camaro needles

New engine bay fuse box and PCM tray to move the PCM ontop of the overflow

New engine harness to do the extension for the PCM

After months of searching

Rear zq8 sway bar (not sure if I'm gonna be able to run this yet being that I have leaf spring sliders gonna go to a turnbuckle style adjustable endlinks, if it doesn't work I'll sell it)

L99 Camaro water pump

When My buddy Jordan and I did the PS pump I decided to throw in my heat only blower box being that the truck doesn't have nor will ever have AC.

Holley LS crinkle black valve covers to get my coils off of the brake booster

And I can't wait to slap this on this winter NNBS/TBSS intake, I will be running the edelbrock DBC throttle body and modifying my stock gen 3 truck rails and keep my SVO red top injectors.

And that's where I am at as of now. Looking to possibly get some 799/243 heads this winter and getting them milled and ported.

Thanks for looking.

I deleted your duplicate thread in the Projects section, one is enough.

Nice build though

Thanks I just didn't know what section to put it in, it seems like the midsize/compact section doesn't get much love on this forum.
