Head flange is mild steel. Had a chunk big enough to cut that and turbo flange sitting around, so we blasted it out on my father inlaws plasma table

I wanted to make sure I never ran out of fuel pump. I hated how the stock 99-03 buckets were so small, so I found 05 tank online and picked it up. I also picked up two walbro 450's off eBay. My original plan was to run stock fuel lines up to the rails and stock return. The idea kept bugging me though, so I ended up running 1/2" hardline for feed and return. Put a -8an bulkhead on the pump and used the stock feed port as return into the bucket. My secondary pump will run off a Hobbs switch around 7psi.

So fuel system consists of 05 tank and bucket, two 450's, -8an feed and return, edelbrock rails, Deka 80's, and aeromotive FPR.

Both pumps in the bucket, crazy how much bigger they are compared to the stock early buckets.

-8an bulkhead fitting and a electrical "bulkhead" type piece I got off of summit. It had a rubber seal inside I ended up removing to get the 10ga wires through for both pumps.

All wired up, 10ga positive and neg. for both. Didn't wanna have any issues with wiring lol

I pretty much copied atomics fitting setup inside the bucket. The gates submersible hose is retarded expensive. Hopefully I won't have any issues with fueling.

Is that a flex fuel pump you modified?

I don't think it was a flex fuel truck it came out of but I can't tell you for sure. Just bought it from a local guy that parts out trucks. I just pulled all the guts out of the bucket and stuffed the two pumps in, there is a center piece inside that held the regulator down that actually worked perfect to hold one of the pumps down in. Then I just drilled some holes and zip tie the other pump to the center of the bucket.

Did you get your manifold parts from Ace Race?

Trying to build a manifold for an entirely different platform, and just picking brains where I can. Thanks for your help!

Ok I thought the metal head pumps like that were flex fuel pumps.

Next got started on the harness. Plan is to run OLSD all the time, so I pulled the entire harness apart and removed: MAF, all 4 02's, EGR, EVAP and everything else not needed. At the same time I integrated in the 3 relay setup or the e-fans, wideband, boost controller and water-meth wiring into the harness so it all flowed like stock. I didn't take many pictures as it was all a mess and I just wanted to get it done.

Harness all tore apart.

How much junk I cut out that I am not using.

After the harness I mounted the cheapo gates and started plumbing. Again I wanted to be different so I decided to hardline the gates, bov, and FPR lines. It turned out ok but I am not 100% happy with them. I will prob re-do them one day after I get the truck running and some bugs worked out.
