I know Canada taxes alcohol and cigarettes heavily up there to pay for the free health care.

Chew is like $20 up there and in some states down here it's only $2.50, in others it as much as $5.00, Same with cigarettes. you also have a bunch of tax and warning stickers on them that we don't have.
Yeah every time i head to the US im blown away by some of your prices.
fuel, tobacco and alcohol are so much cheaper.

picked up some aluminum flat stock and some stainless fasteners and started by mounting up the fans. I know its overkill, but even with the stock cooler the trans never got really hot unless sitting in traffic. so I added the fans to control temps better when there is no air flow.

<a href="http://s1352.photobucket.com/user/jroctpb/media/ghjhgjghjh_zpsdmqx2bly.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1352.photobucket.com/albums/q656/jroctpb/ghjhgjghjh_zpsdmqx2bly.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo ghjhgjghjh_zpsdmqx2bly.jpg"/></a>

the flat sections on either side sit on the frame rails and are fastened to the frame by self tapping stainless screws. Also deburred and radiused all the edges and corners on the brackets.

<a href="http://s1352.photobucket.com/user/jroctpb/media/image1%2011ghjghjgf_zpshrgqi1qy.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1352.photobucket.com/albums/q656/jroctpb/image1%2011ghjghjgf_zpshrgqi1qy.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo image1 11ghjghjgf_zpshrgqi1qy.jpg"/></a>

then I made some brackets for the lower mounts. These attached to the factory splash guard bolts up front.

Mocked it up, placed it to utilize the lower bumper grill since there is no room up top with the heat exchanger. Plus its just wasted space down there.

<a href="http://s1352.photobucket.com/user/jroctpb/media/image1%2011nnn_zpsdus9hrpl.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1352.photobucket.com/albums/q656/jroctpb/image1%2011nnn_zpsdus9hrpl.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo image1 11nnn_zpsdus9hrpl.jpg"/></a>

here is where the lower mounts piggy back off the splash guard mounts. I can wiggle the whole truck back and forth grabbing these and the cooler stays rigid. Pretty good I think considering the whole bracket assembly weighs less then 2 pounds.

assembled some new trans cooler lines using russels -6 hose and fittings. I will be using the factory in rad pre cooler for this.

<a href="http://s1352.photobucket.com/user/jroctpb/media/image1%201hg1_zpsdh5h0v3t.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1352.photobucket.com/albums/q656/jroctpb/image1%201hg1_zpsdh5h0v3t.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo image1 1hg1_zpsdh5h0v3t.jpg"/></a>

Got some 5/8 flare to -6 fittings for the rad side cause thats what the trucool install thread said was needed. They did not work for my rad, i dont know if all nnbs trucks are like this but they didnt fit.

<a href="http://s1352.photobucket.com/user/jroctpb/media/image1%201154542g_zpswe7tzjqe.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1352.photobucket.com/albums/q656/jroctpb/image1%201154542g_zpswe7tzjqe.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo image1 1154542g_zpswe7tzjqe.jpg"/></a>

purchased a bunch more fittings but none worked so i ended up using 3/8 to -6 compression fittings.
