Default Jake's '05 Rcsb s488 4l80 build

Decided instead of having multiple threads i'd just start a build thread. I brought this truck at the beginning of the yr for 5k its a 2005 with 178k miles and a v6/4l60 was pretty well kept for the most part.

My plan for the truck
swap the v6 out with a sbe gen 4 6.0 with port and polished 317 heads
super vic intake
230/236 598/602 115+2 cam
Trunion upgrade btr dual springs
jakes stage 4 trans built by me (waiting on kit)
S488 94mm 1.32 a/r v2 cover
4" dp out the back with 4" cutout
4.11 gears and a tru trac.
4/6 mcgaughys drop 2" spindles and 2" springs with 6" rear flip and rear qa1 coilover in rear
vas traction bars
dual walbro 450 pumps with -8 feed and return
100lb injectors
E85

I'm shooting for about 8-900 hp on the 6.0 block then swapping in a 408ci and going for ~1200 hp. 408 just needs to be put together i have all the forged internals and bearings

This was the truck the day i brought it. I have since removed all the chrome and bug shield as well as the door skirt pieces

As of now the motor is complete, waiting on rebuild kit for trans, rick is fitting up the new v2 cover for the cold side and dp. Still need to order tru trac and gears along with the drop. Target for build completion is around june (i hope)
