I'm very happy with how this turned out, just wish I hadnt put the top on backwards, doh! The black powdercoat was a good idea I think.

I have enough material to make another one if anyone wants one.

Thanks!

I got everything back together today and just started it up to make sure nothing was going to explode and it was good to go. Before that I turned on just the pump to prime the system and man it primed in about 5 seconds and anecdotally the new setup really helped the flow increase by a noticeable margin. Same pump, just larger hoses, intercooler fittings, and new dual pass heat exchanger. Total capacity is about 1.5 gallons it seems. I used basically a whole gallon of distilled water and half of a prediluted antifreeze jug.

Really cleaned up the engine bay as well having everything on the passenger side

Glad it's working well so far. You really need to do something about that non black air filter.

The air filter issue will be dealt with shortly

I got a new helmet since mine keeps cutting out on DC TIG. I will just let the comparison picture below to the talking.

Got a little bit done today. Going to redo all of my shocks to vikings, but first I wanted to redo the back mounting to get the shocks vertical instead of leaned over, so todays project was the axle side of it so at least I could measure for shocks I needed. I cut and ground off the old ones and welded on the new mounts. I think I am going to pull the bed to do the top, that would make it so much easier.

I took an hour or so drive today pulling a trailer with some couches on it and thought this was a good test of the water tank. The result: my IATs are the same if not hotter. Basically 83F out today, and driving IATs were about 125F basically solid as a rock. When I got home I got out my temp gun and measured in a few spots. Keep in mind this was after an hour driving at 65-70mph pulling a trailer, not beating on it.

If the picture is hard to see here it is listed.

Reservoir tank: 125F
Heat Exchanger: 100F
Front face of blower: 175F
Back of blower/Jtube: 135F
Middle top of blower: 160F
IAT: 130F

Pretty toasty, and it seems the bearing/gearbox of the blower is by far the hottest part. Heat exchanger was basically warm to mildly hot to the touch. I am not real worried about it, I just thought it was interesting.
