Default the hunt for 10s

well I've been meaning to start a thread on my build of my 2002 chevy RCSB 1500 2wd but I've been lazy

well heres the DL i bought the truck about 7 years ago man time flys i built a 90 gt mustang with my dad but soon found out that i wanted a NBS 99-02 RCSB lowered and fast as **** in my neck of the woods you just don't see lowered trucks there all lifted and slow

truck started out as a regency package 4.8 auto i did headers converter and gears normal stuff truck ran a 13.9 with the 4.8 i pulled the 4.8 out and did a heads cam LQ4 truck ran a 12.1 @ 110 with that setup but i got bored of it pretty quick so then here i am today ended up buying a D1SC procharger setup off a member and i also ditched the 60E for a 80E with a FTI 3600 so far since I've done the procharger I've gone 11.9 @ 117 i know the truck has more in it low 11s shouldn't be a problem

my main goal is to try and beat blown06 record 10.46 @126 which iirc thats the fasted procharged street driven truck on this forum it will be a hard goal to beat but I've always wanted a mid 10sec street driven full-size truck

Heres some pics i know you guys will be bugging the crap outta me if i don't post any lol

Yessss. Been waiting to see this thread.

So what are you plans for the rest of the build. 117 mph is a good start and should get you down to a solid 11.5 or so with a good 60'. What was your 60' on that 11.9 pass?

It's gonna be fun to watch as the cold weather rolls in this fall.

The faster you go the bigger the fire under my *** is gonna get... i'll be forced to do something drastic.

How do you plan on dropping your 60' beside adding some timing? Once you get that down to a reasonable time, Should be pretty easy to see how much more power you will need to meet your goal.

I've already got caltracs on the truck id like to relocate my rear shocks blown06 was cutting 1.5 60fts with a 4/6 drop and relocated rear shocks I'm just not a fan of doing the 4/6 drop

Looking forward to seeing you at the track. Are you willing to roll bar the truck? New England Dragway is strict with the rules.
