Was that in 4x4?

I guess its not that bad pre converter and big tires. Still sounds like time to gear down!

Wrapped my intake tube today its really really easy I didnt use gloves or anything never got any fiber glass in my hand and had no trouble keeping it tight.

Been trying to do as many low budget upgrades as possible and decided tierod sleeves were a good idea. Especially since I like nice hard 6k 4x4 launches

Got these on amazon for like $25-30 install was a breeze and now I feel a little bit safer.
Still want to lower it another inch or 2 so the CV angle is even straighter. But that will wait until Atomic coilover conversion.

if you soak the glass in water it makes it easier to wrap and when it dries it is super tight.

Will soon be starting somthing mildly interesting! Atomic coilover swap! But since last time when I did the tie rod sleeves a few things have changed so I will fill in the gap.

Brakes! Went camping last year and had my front driver side caliper lock up on me. Pulled over wacked it with a hammer and continued on my fun filled trip, but I knew I needed to do somthing soon.
Ended up doing a NNBS 13in rotor swap which I was told should have been was is on all 04+ trucks with the drum rears but for some reason I had 12in rotors and slightly smaller calipers. Swap was 100% bolt on. Also upgraded to stainless braided lines all around.

I did some test of before and after stopping distance.
Results
-Above 50mph dropped my stopping distance by about 12%
-At 40mph or below very little difference of about 2%

Overall pedal feels better and I dont have to worry about a caliper locking up again anytime soon.

A few months after the brake swap I encountered some wheel hop trying to peel out from a stop sign and my pinion broke. So back to the shop for a rear end. Good news was that it was once again covered by my warranty and I was back on the road in less then a week.

To solve my wheel hop problem I ordered...
-Bilstien 5100s they look amazing and Feel much better then the old worn out procomps that came on the truck.
-TA girdle looks nice in the aluminum finish and I'm sure it will fit well.
-Off road design ladder bar havent recieved it yet.

While it was in the shop I decided to try and fix a vibration issue I was convinced was caused by my tires. So I got a new set of BFG KO2s mounted. they look amazing ride way better and make almost no road noise on the highway. But my vibration issue is not gone.

Also ordered a set of atomics coilover brackets and will be attempting that swap very soon!

Ok so finally somthing mildly interesting!

Got all the parts needed to do the Atomic coilover swap useing FOA 6in travel 2.0 coilovers with 2.5 reservoirs.

started today and spent most of the time thanks to rust sawzawing and grinding the old torsion bar junk out

ALso got the cross member made for my ORD ladder bar everything works awesome no binding at all during full compression or full droop. Dropped them of at the powder coaters yesterday hopfully have back next week.
