awesome build so far!, should meet up some time if i ever get my truck back together haha.

If I lived anywhere near Mopac I'd be broker than I already am.... hahah

I'm jealous of your truck I looked at that style originally, then bailed after I realized guys want $8500+ for a 4.3L around here. NOPE. Thumbs up on the T56 mag. Thats also the trans I originally wanted, but then I realized you can do a TKO600 extreme for the same price and have it rated for 950ft-lbs.

I'm really good at drinking cheap beer, pointing fingers and kicking tires if you ever need some motivation.

I should really have adult supervision when making decisions about this truck. should be an interesting weekend to say the least. I'm figuring there will be a short ovalized section where it passes between the bell housing and frame.

I'm still on the fence about a muffler and where I'm going to dump the exhaust. I doubt the exhaust will make it out the back half of the truck, which means there will be practically no space for a muffler. and mufflers cost money anyways... I think the saying goes, young and dumb?

If you really feel that way just turn it up out the hood. Save you time and money. Thanks, I'm here all week!

That what you had in mind????

I've had the thought of cutting the hood or the fender, multiple times haha. It would be orders of magnitude easier and I actually don't mind the look of either. But it rains too much for a hood exhaust and a fender exhaust is asking for cop trouble. I'm really trying to stay away from cutting body panels for the obvious reason that its hard to go back from...

Most recent though is out the inner fender behind the tire..... Let the swirl in the fender figure its out.

So it fit.... The reality of how big 5" was didn't hit until I held the first bend in the engine bay, there was a lot of swearing at myself . Once I told myself I didn't care about the inner fender it was all sunshine, roses, beer, and time. There is probably 12 hours worth of effort on 3 bends, with out welding. I did a bit of cheating at the joints to get the bends and the angles to work out how I wanted it to. The inner fender will have a nice power dent in it but overall I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. I even got to keep my heater core and full lock steering with a big tire! hahah

I have a V band that I will put shortly after the last bend so I can actually remove this thing with out taking the wheel off.

I also decided on running a muffler too. Probably along the lines of a 5X18" flow-pro twister.
