oh i gotcha......i was thinking backwards on that. ive had turbo 350 and turbo 400's in my truck for years and havent had a speedo working since i tore up my stock trans years ago. i cant even remember if it was a single wire or a 2 wire plug that hooked to the factory trans for the speed signal. i still have the factory harness tied up under the truck so i guess i need to dig through it and see what i got... how many wires did you have to hook up with the SGI-5 box?

sorry for all the questions, but i thank you very much for your help

Been a while! Few updates! Sold the 03 LQ4 and bought me a newer stronger 06 LQ4! Also got me some ARP head bolts, a Stock48 spec'd Isky cam (215/215) and gonna build a bigger down pipe, prob a 3.5"

Gonna try to get the new engine installed this weekend!

Questons. What made you decide on a smaller cam? Why did you swap turbos from the Turbonetics to the CX?

Cam is not necessarily smaller, the duration may be slightly smaller but the lobes are much more aggressive, .41" more lift, 2* tighter LSA and 1* more advance. It should spool the turbo quicker and get me a better 60ft off the foot brake. All about efficiency, making all your parts work together!

The CX turbo has bigger wheels (TC76: 74.7x68mm, CX:76.6x77.4mm) MUCH bigger housings and A/R (1.15 vs .96)to flow alot more air), and ball bearing! Despite everything being bigger, the turbo still spools just as quick or quicker, I absolutely love it! And its WAYYY louder. To say the least, I wanted more efficiency, the CX turbo is making a noticeable amount more power in the higher boost/RPM areas, it more efficient!
