Does that mean you don't have a solid 1/4 mile time with the truck? Sorry don't want to look for 24 pages but it sounds like you blew it up one of the first times out?

it wasnt from dragging it was from auto crossing , after hot lapping it and running it hard around a track a few times it got the pistons hot , so hot they expanded and ended up scoring the skirts and walls.this was back in may of 2012 truck has been back home for a long time now and have it up for sale just havent advertised it yet.

Hey nice build. Do you have any pics of the 4L80E to AWD T-case swap? Did you use an adapter for the trans output shaft to tcase input shaft?

There are a lor of write ups on this... you need to get your hands on an input shaft for the AWD transfer case and have it modified for the 4L80e

I saw what Time2Kill had offered for a while with an adapter he had a machinist create.

I will try searching a little more to see if I come across someone else's write up unless you have a link to share.

Thanks

Truck looks exactly the same. I tried running it how chase had it but broke Trans first pass at the track. I rebuilt it put smallest springs on gate so it could last me and it ran 10.9@127 on 12psi 4500 da. Converter was blowing through so I had it tightened up then I broke the 3m input shaft on 80e. It's a fun truck but really needs power not to come on as quick so I'm removing my 1000 horse 370 from single cab and installing it on SS. At track with 440 I have to leave off idle to hook so I'm sure less cubes and more boost will make it faster all around. The small twins will also be more at home on less cubes, and guess it billet input shaft for 80e. Here's vid running 11sec Vette in Mexico.
