Care to share a few pics of your truck? I would love to see more color matched front ends!

This is the best one I could find on my phone. Love your build thread by the way. Can't wait to boost mine, I just need to get some thing's paid off first.

I also installed a new daul channel knock gauge. Its the box on my dash that kinda looks like a radar detector.

What pads did you use on your Z06 brake swap? Does it stop any better?

My calipers came with the pads when I bought them. I'm not sure of the brand but I can say that they stop great and never get hot. I have kept up with several AWD cars on very windy roads with no brake fade what so ever.

Well guys, I've decided to build a new motor that will handle the boost a little better than the 100k mile motor that is in my truck now. I have made a short list of parts that I have started and should have the shortblock back from Lewis Racing in about 4 weeks or so. My plan is to have the motor installed by August. This is what I have so far...

LSX 427 will all forged internals and billet main caps
PRC 260cc LS3 heads
All ARP studs
Custom ground cam to be announced
8 rib belt setup

I'm keeping the TVS 2300 with the 10% OD crank and step down to a 2.8 blower pulley and spray lots of meth. Should be a nice reliable daily driver. I'm worried about how the 6L80 is going to hold up.....
