I didn't know Neutral and Park are actual gears, I thought it was a LACK of a gear? I wonder what locking up the converter in neutral gains during a 1/4 mile pass? Gotta be worth three window stickers and some blinker fluid.
If I am correct the 4L60E and 80 are actualy 6 speed transmitions. They have an intermitent gear ratio between 2-3 and 3-4. They aren't considered another gear for what ever reason. My tranny guy never explained it any more then that. If that is true then maybe he can lock it into those intermitent ratios if he so chooses?

Well I trust you guys to know the trans event better then the trans guy who built my trans. He has a shop and has built some performance trans for mud racing trucks, but mostly Ford stuff. I have had some problems with my trans so maybe he doesn't know the Chevy stuff as well as he should.

I want to see some videos of him hitting it on the street and some speedometer clips. If this is all it takes to run 10s, the gibbs is getting hacked tomorrow.
