Default Exhaust cutout

Hey guys, asking a question for a buddy here. He's got a Harley Davidson edition F-250 with a 60, 100, 160 horse programmer on it. His exhaust is stock, however, and he's worried about egts, but also doesn't want it excessively loud. Would a BIG exhaust cutout work on a diesel? Don't think I've ever seen that done.

if he just upgrades to something like a bully dog or MBRP exhaust it would keep the temps under control, plus give it a little growl...nothin crazy...althrough the do sound pretty cool w/ the VGT...

whats the biggest cut out size??...I just say put a 4" exhaust on there...

DMH is the best, I really dont know why others want to go with a different brand.
DMH has a 4 year warranty and they are cheaper...
