Nice pics. Do you have a tripod yet? You could try cranking down the iso and using a higher f-stop for a little longer exposure on those shots.

I need a tripod. Any kind you'd suggest?
Basically i played last night for night time stuff. I found I had to have a higher iso cause the shutter speed was so long I just couldn't hold it still long enough! Almost 9/10 of my pics had a blur last night so that was annoying but I learned some stuff about how to use my single servo focus

I've been eyeing the dolica ax620b100. Its $46 on amazon and has great reviews. I still don't have one yet. It's on my list but things keep coming up. The speakers in my truck just went out so those are next.

What f stop and iso should I try first on a pic like this once I get the tripod?

I would go as low on iso as you can. Then play with f stop and shutter. It depends on what is going on in the background, but you could try using the highest f stop.

I ordered that tripod. Shipping off amazon.com woulda been steep so I had to amazon.ca at $65...I get screwed up here like that haha.
So your saying go to manual mode and choose my own shutter speed as well as aperture?

Awesome! You'll have to let me know how it does. I've heard good things about it. For long exposure, its best to use manual mode and use the light meter. You might have to change your metering mode also.
