Finally took more pics yesterday. My wife and I went for a hike on this nature trail at a nearby college. It had warning signs of poisonous snakes and alligators lol. They shoulda had a sign about the freakin mosquitos. They were ridiculous and made focusing the camera way harder. I haven't really experimented too much with macro - so the pics aren't the best. I need to do a little research.

Do you guys choose your own ISO or leave it on Auto?

I had a nice reply for you a week ago, but I guess it didn't post! I generally choose my own ISO. I pretty much always leave it on 200 unless i need to shoot in low light (indoors or at night). That way I don't have too much noise in the pics.

The black and white was edited in Lightroom. If you don't have it, I would recommend a free trial. I think it has taken my photography to the next level - even if my skills still aren't that great.

Here's one from Sunday night after a rain storm at the beach.

I'll try that, I keep leaving mine at 400, so I'll try going to 200ISO and adjust from there if i'm inside or its darker out
I checked out Lightroom, when I get into some days off I'll get the trial so I can really play with it
