Default Nitrous trucks need a catch can.

2016 5.3L. Engine has 15K on it.
This was after 3000 miles of highway driving, N/A truck.
Catch can installed in the pcv line.

This is what the Trick catch can caught.

The oil in the intake track will cause a nitrous engine to get into detenation easier.

20 years of LS/LT motors from GM and they still can't figure out how to not suck up oil

Nice job!

As I understand it most DI engines have this problem and especially when you add boost to the mix. My wifes old Hyundai Veloster turbo 4cyl. would have 1/2-3/4 full catch can every oil change......

Do you have more pics of the setup?
Did you only need 1 catch can? These trucks have 2 vacuum lines so I'm just trying to make sure 2 cans aren't needed.

You only need one.
You only put it in the pcv line.

The problem on DI engines, is you have no fuel flowing past the intake valve so you get massive carbon build up on the valves from the PCV. Been a known issue with VW/Audi for the last 10 years.
