Default Yup... seems like my kinda place

So, I came to see about getting info and hopefully helping people with what little I do know. I don't know much about most trucks, but I have been further into this S10 than I thought I ever would. looking to build the truck for some track use. Not drag, but road courses hopefully doing some good track days out on the east coast. never knew there was a forum for performance truck. Glad I found it through LS1Tech.

LS2, T56, 12 bolt rear with 3.73 gears, 3-link adjustable, QA1 coilovers in the rear, coil and shocks in front, gutted and caged interior, Boze Alloy mesh wheels 18X10 rear, 18X8 front, unsure on tires, and I planned on building an aluminum sheet to smooth out the undercarriage a bit but need help and info on how to do it. I'd like to try and help aero a bit. I understand it's a truck so that would be a bit hard to do. Hopefully a supercharger or turbo later down the road so I'd like to build the motor for that. would LOVE 500 out of the motor.
in other words, a 15 year project it seems.

not sure where at on the east coast. I'm getting stationed back in VA from cali. miss VA, hated cali.

Seems like everyone has a love hate relationship with these trucks. even me.

Found a few pics of her. Backstory, bought in 07, tranny took a crap on my in 2012 when I was to move to cali. tow vehicle broke down in Alabama so I sold it, and put her in a storage unit. Here she is 3 years later. still have a few more parts to take out. heater core, gas tank, drive shaft, etc. the dusty pics are from her being in the unit. few from a few years ago.

Sounds like a fun project. A three link will definitely help get the back end around corners.

That's what I'm hoping for. was going to look into a 4-link, but read about binding issues. and I also looked into truck arms. I'd have to find the right length arms. has been done, but I'd like to be able to adjust the coilovers. not saying you can't adjust the shocks on a truck arm setup. And I believe 3-links are more adjustable than truck arms.
