Default Silverado guy from mexico

Hello ya'll, my name is Tony, sorry if my english isn't 100%, I'm a 'modern mennonite' and I live in Mexico. I know, weird combo amirite.

I've lurked around here for a while, decided its time to sign up, gotta share ideas for builds and get some opinions.

I have 2008 silverado (details/pic in my signature), I got sent the 'wrong' cam which is a bigger cam and currently my truck is somewhat underbuilt / overcammed imo.
However I'm planning on removing the cam since its not very FI/Boost friendly, my LY6 still has stock 9.67 CR so I thought I'd do my first supercharger build on it, on a budget tho.

So I'm thinking 1.9l LSA Supercharger, LS9 cam (gaskets and arp bolts...etc), 2800 stall, trying to keep the budget under 4k. Stock everything else.

My goal is 550+ whp, for a somewhat heavy truck that might be a lot, so I probably need a bunch of boost from that blower.
as a new member that's pretty much what I can tell ya about my plans,
I'll probably make a build thread or something like that!

However feel free to tell me your opinion!

I think you won't like that LS9 cam in a truck, it will be very lazy down low.

So I've heard, wouldn't a 2800-3000 stall be enough tho?, the cam gets torque at 3500 rpm+

that was my thought process...

if not, what direction would you go with it? thanks for the reply
