Default guy from tejas

names Dillon from Houston Tx

recently bought an 08 silverado ltz, so i figured id make an account on here and ask questions before I install something i shouldnt, or the wrong way.

have put 6k hid on low beams and fog lights and put limo tint all around it so far.

will post pics when i figure out how.

Welcome aboard man. I'm in the Houston area as well. There is a wealth of info in this forum and people who like to help. I'd pay attention to the stickies as most of everything you may want to do has already been done and written up as tech articles. You want to look these over before asking a question that's already been asked a million times before.
What are you trying to do? What are your goals? Cheers man!

I don't plan on doing anything crazy, im paying a buddy of mine 100$ to install the 2 inch drop shackles from advanced auto but it turns out its much harder than we both thought. any advice on installing those would be great.

Sorry man.. that's one of the few things I haven't done to my truck since it's an HD and dont plan to slam it...

Just remove the bed or remove 3/4th of the bed bolts, then use a jack and long board to lift the bed up a few inches. That way the leaf spring eye will clear the beds pinch weld and you can slide the bolt out.
