exhaust note sounds pretty good at idle. was that your belt squeeking? i didnt see an a/a intercooler, are you running an a/w cooler inside the stock air box?

I'll be on the lookout for it, and steer clear!

Yeah the belt was soaked in coolant at one point and hasn't been the same since. Just needs a new one.

No intercooler. Id would be best to fit on in the air box but it would have to be pretty small and extreamly customto fit. If iat are high iI will put the Meth nozzle in there. Its on e85 so I should be able to get away with murder.

Yeah I hope to find a few of the meets around town when its done texasglock

I personally don't have anything, but I know quite a few guys who own fun toys. What kind of power are you looking at?

Not sure yet. 10lb springs in the gates and a controller from there

When it had the single on it it was north of 15. Don't see why I would settle for any less this go around lol

well i cruised it around the neighborhood a few times earlier.

the bad -
i hope that the smoke i see is from when i flooded the exhaust without having the return pump on. it seemed to disappear the longer it ran

the bovs sound like the cars in the first fast and the furious movie. going to have to address that issue.

the convertor seemed tight for a 3600 but i didnt see what it would flash too. if it manners that nice and hits above 3k then wow. worth its weight in gold

the bottom end of the motor sounds like hell. im going to pull the oil and see how it looks. i have popped a head gasket on that bottom end before and drove it home with some water in the oil but i flushed it. maybe it just needs some honey lol

the good -

the exhaust sounds fantastic. so pleased with it

the trans i build shifts amazing. so crisp and exact. i read so many threads on so many sites and talked to so many people to find the best combo of clearances and man does it shift nice

tomorrow is a new day!

Thanks guys

I moved the boat around earlier and it didn't seem to smoke so I think I'm headed in the right direction. Tomorrow I'm pumping some e85 in and playing with the tuning.
