Default 30-90 pull with new LTs and ORY

Didn't mean to do this passing a mini van, but they pulled out even though my light was green.

Let me know what ya think!

Thanks! Eventually I'm going to go full 3" from the y-pipe back with a new muffler.

Got two new videos today while out doing some data logging. Turns out in the last video I was in the process of having a plug wire being melted and ended up having misfire issues the next day.

So here's another 30-90 clip and this time with my gopro not in its case. You can hear the exhaust a lot better. This was with the windows up.

And here was an attempt at a dig launch. I finally let off when I saw I was doing 60 and wasnt going near that fast lol.

Looks pretty strong for a cam only 5.3.

I'd take it easy on those 1st gear downshifts with a stock trans... youre asking for trouble.

haha yea im sure i am, but thats where it hits the best. Anything over 35 and it just shifts into 2nd and takes forever to pull. Rear diff and trans are next on my list.

Which headers and y pipe did you end up with? Trying to get some solid info on what fits the 4wd trucks. Thanks

These are the Ebay "hump" headers. They don't clear very well. They hit the frame on both passenger and driver side and the front drive shaft yoke also hits when letting off the gas after making a pull. Most of the time it doesnt make any noise but, once you get into some bumps I can hear them rubbing a little bit. But for $300 they're worth it if you clearance them some. Im not going to dent them in because I plan on selling them when I get to putting my turbo kit on.

Yea this stock converter is killing me right now. But I'm holding off for now until I get the trans rebuilt.
