Are you asking if you can reuse your old main bolts?

arp rod bolts has been my dilema.... from what i have read is that when just changing bolts out and putting arp inplace of oem there seems to be no problems... but if its a complete rebuild there seems to be some hesitation..im just worried about the arp's putting too much clamping force on the cracked cap design rods... any insight on this or should i not be worried

What power level is your goal? Are you using any power adders? Stock bolts in the bottom end are good for quite a bit.

If you decide on ARP rod bolts, or ARP mains, I'd recommend you have your machine shop check to see if any resizing or align-honing is necessary. Seems like there's more possibility of "distorting" the bearing journals with the ARP's.

I'd just run the stock main & rod bolts.
