Yep, injectors bungs need to be welded in, a carb to throttle body adapter is need, fuel rails, injectors, fuel pressure regulator. Those are the big things, and the ones that make it cost more. Just like the marine intake, you will have to tinker with vacuum lines and MAP sensor.

For comparison.

Yea I just looked it up lol. I'm def liking the 2114 setup. It'll be a while till I can do anything unfortunately. But I will be collecting parts for a cam swap. Thanks for the picks and the info man.

my understanding of it so far is that it has to be drilled ang welded for the injector bungs. after that and the wiring it seems to be an almost direct bolt in

Wiring isn't a big deal. What kind of rails do you use? I read a few places that they use summits rails and cut them down? If you could find the marine rails could they fit on the 2114?

Ive heard of people using the summit rails and cutting them down.

You MAY be able to modify the marine rails, but Id imagine they would interfere with the throttle body.

RPM performance sells 4.3 fuel rails.

you HAVE to have springs (ls6) and a new timing cover. plus obviously the cam. everything past that is just insurance. i think i might would have gotten a custum grind. but its good enough.

rpm does sell those fuel lines dont they.... well see. ive told myself that the next thing i do to that truck is going to be a t56. then. and only then. will i do more to the motor.

I did the comp cam 270 and loved it. Before that I had the something similar to the 266 from crane cams. Both times I had a V2 vortech blower with ported heads and headers and meth. Before the 2114 conversion, stall, gear and locker I ran low 13's, but had a trap from a easy mid to low 12. That was on a stock converter and could only muster a 2.3 60 foot. My Ex ran a high 12.7 in here z28 and I killed her from a roll. After the upgrades mentioned above the truck was a beast. High 11's I would say if not close to mid 11's but prolly high 11's. So the previous post about the crank not holding up isn't correct. Qbnkiller on syty made well over 850hp with just a nitrade crank. Went 10's all day long. THE PROBLEM IS THE TIMING CHAIN. Ask me how I know.. Do a double roller. I beat the **** out of my 98 SS S10 and was maxing the blower out. Before I got a chance to upgrade someone blew the motor. (timing chain).. You may spend some money on the 4.3 but the V8 thing is wearing thin everytime someone throws out the post when upgrading the V6. Stock my truck put down 157hp and 204tq on a dynojet. With the headers, crane blower cam, V2 and borla it put down 297hp and 299tq the very next day after the install. Then after a custom tune, 270 cam and ported heads I put down 330hp and 366tq on W2W's mustang dyno. After the meth, intake, converter, smaller pulley and gear I never had a chance to redyno.

All this talk about doing v6s make me wonder about the Syclone........was it just a stock 4.3 with a turbo setup i dont now much about these trucks but there badass. Would it be hard to put that engine in there if there was any advantages?

it would be easier to use just the exhaust/turbo set up from one. bolt it on and figure out a fuel solution.
