About 8 weeks ago John Germanson aka Crash Dummy The GM Tuning Moderator was diagnosed with Pancreatic/Liver/Esophagus Cancer. Last week he was admitted to the hospital and placed on a feeding tube to help with his nourishment. Yesterday I visited him and he is down to about 100 or so lbs and incoherent, today he was admitted to the ICU and the prognoses relayed to us by his wife was not good. John G is a guy that would give the shirt off his back and his last dollar to anyone who needed it. I know he has helped several of us from the board, and I wanted you guys to know that things do not look good for him. Your prayers and thoughts are needed for him and his family.

If anyone would like to send a card, they can be sent to Magnuson and we will forward them to him and his family.

This is truly sad news and yes, I will pray for John and his family. About a year ago, I talked to John on the phone about tuning a RADIX for 87 octane. I happened to mention a hot starting problem that I was having and he was very gracious to give me a couple of suggestions.
