Tom, you know how I feel about both of you, where finding great friends and not just acquaintances is sometimes not the easiest thing in the world, yet the two of you made it very comfortable to say the least.

And Tom, you know what I mean when I say any time / any where my friend!

What is really said about situations like this is that nobody takes depression seriously, in fact many times people are made fun of rather than supported. Unfortunately help is usually never offered until its too late and then people are left to wonder how come nobody did anything?

Chronic depression is something that never goes away, it s with you a lifetime.

GREENSIERRA, yes, u learn to differentiate the B.S.ers from the real. He was the real deal, bursting w/. knowledge & enthusiam.

And yes, like FastBrick said, if he was wrong, he'd fess up, just like it was said that I do. Anybody can do wrong, it takes a big man to admit it tho.

I'm not perfect, nor is anyone. But I try to do far more right than wrong. I usually have success to a huge degree doin good, decent things but if we stumble, it's how we handle ourselves that defines us. To me, that's being human.

TXSZ66AVLANCHE, depression is real. It runs in my family, & I do get down a little sometimes, but weather the fight. My heart & mind are pretty tough.
But makin fun of is not the answer for any that have bouts.

Wow I'm so sorry for the family. This is very sad. My prayers are sent to his family and friends, its never easy losing a loved one. I personally never met the guy but from everything I've read I believe he was a good man to anyone he met. It's good to see the pt.net family come together. I'm glad to be apart of such a great community.

Tom, I think you said what many of us feel, there's a lot the guys on here that like brothers to each other, I know I have a tendency to follow a few of the guys around here like a little brother because I know, if whatever they post isn't full of knowledge that I can soak up, it's funny and will make for a good laugh. Billy was one of these people.

I just wish I would have had more time to have become a better friend.

time may heal the anguish of the wound,
but the loss cannot be repaired." -- Robert Southey
