If you have a tool or any kind of item you fabricated yourself and would like to sell on performancetrucks.net read guidleines below. Remember, approval doesn't mean your right to sell can't be revoked at anytime for any reason. Good behavior (defined by the moderation team) is expected at all times.

1. First and foremost, you must accept all responsibility and liability of your own product. Patent infringement, law suits for injury, taxes, or whatever good or bad comes your way. ALL on you! We are only an open forum allowing you (once approved) to have a forum for selling your item.
2. You must have been a member on performancetrucks.net for 1 yrs and have 25 posts.
3. Approval must be had for each item.
4. Your item can have multiple parts, BUT all parts must go hand in hand with THE "item". If your "item" is made in a different way for a different location of the truck it still must be the same product. You can make a dash piece and you can sell multiple dash pieces but you have to get separate approval if you want to sell Gear shift ***** (for example). Any variance of this rule is approved or disapproved by the staff on a case by case basis.
5. All parts of your item together must cost less than $500 (not including shipping)
6. The "item" must not be sold by a sponsor. Even ones that come after you being approved. Sorry, they pay the real bills.
7. No bulk discounts or mass selling, your sell thread must stand on its own.
8. You must ship your item to one of the moderators in this section at no cost to them or anyone besides yourself. It will be given away in a contest if you are approved to sell. If not approved to sell, the moderator can do whatever they want with the item.
9. IF approved to sell the item, you may advertise the item in your signature, but staying within the guidleines of the signature rules. You are NOT allowed to advertise your signature on LS1Tech. You must hide your signature before posting. If we get ONE complaint from LS1tech.com staff we will remove your signature privileges for a few months. ONE complaint and signature privileges will be revoked. More than one complaint will be handled case by case.
10. At any time your rights can be revoked by admin or a majority vote of the mods, who can call a vote in the admin/moderator section anytime they want.
11. If there are any unsettled complaints longer than 30 days, your selling rights will be revoked.
12. Sponsors of this site are priority. They get what they want. You must accept this. If there is a conflict with your item, the sponsor will undoubtedly win.

14. The item CAN'T be a service (like tuning). It must be a physical item that your are making or assembling.
15. DECALS are not allowed to be the item. If you have decal(s) you'd like to sell, contact me personally and we'll discuss putting them on the decal site (hopefully to be upgraded soon)
16. performancetrucks.net moderators get a 10% discount and free shipping (one time and only one item)

As one can imagine, these rules may change as time goes on.

If the above 16 items are acceptable, contact a moderator of this section. (main performancetrucks.net page lists section moderators to the right, click one of them and send them a private message). Let the moderator know your intentions and ask them for a shipping address. You must ship that moderator the item (and any part that can go with it) at no cost to anyone but yourself. Once the moderator gets your "item", they will post a POLL in the admin/moderator section for the moderation team to VOTE on your approval to sell the item.

That admin/moderator private POLL will be open for approximately a week while everyone discusses you and your item. Once the POLL closes the moderator you contacted will private message you with the results.

If denied, that's it. Sorry and thanks for trying.

If approved, you'll be allowed to start ONE thread in this section for the approved item. Threads do have to be approved in this section before they will show to the general public. So once you post your thread the section moderators will get an email asking if it is okay to send that thread to the public. If you were approved in the "POLL", then your thread goes live once one of the section mods approves the thread.

Also if approved, we will create a separate thread to "give away" the item you sent for approval. We will handle the shipping costs of that item. This contest could be anything and is left to the discretion of the section moderators.
