The Lightnings had 8 lbs with their stock configuration. So I guess the HD would be somewhere around 6 lbs of boost. Rated at 340 HP.

A buddy of mine had a 03 Crew-Cab Harley and ran a 6lbs/CAI/TB/ JLP Flip Chip/Valve Body/Magnaflow exaust and ran 8:20's all day long in the 1/8. I would start with the usual CHIP/Pulley and go from there....

Put a Lightning upper and a 4 lb. lower puley on it,. along with the proper plugs. A good cold air intake and a good tune form a local tuner will wake it up nicely, if you have some more to spend a good electric fan set up will help as well.
The possibilities are endless,,, well at least up until 450HP.

I have the same truck and run low 13's. I have minor bult ons plus a more aggressive tune. heres the list: First was the k&n free flow intake and following that was the pulley swap to up the boost to 8lbs. Then i took it to the local ford dealership with and svt specialist on staff and had it tuned like a lightning. following this was magnaflow exhaust and high flow cats with jba shorties. To top it all of there was a little trans work and 4.10 gears in the rear. I also threw some lowering shackles on the back to drop the *** two inches so it sits level. I think with a new tune and a head swap i could get down in the high 11's or low 12's. All of this was done for around 8,000$.
