Default rockers

if i change to a 1.75 or 1.80 rocker on my int valves will i need
to change the push rod also ? i have a set of Comp 7.400 in
my engine now.

Any time you change anything in relation to valve train, you should measure to know for sure. A pushrod length checker is the most accurate way to measure, but you could also count the turns when tightening down the rocker arm.

May also need shims, taller valve covers, and the geometry of the valve train will be changed...Lots of things to check for sure..

Are you using Comp adjustable rocker arms? You still have to double check your pushrod length but an adjustable rocker arm is not set up the same as a non-adjustable valve train.
