Default need help on a cam decision

Can i get a lil bit of help guys. i want to upgrade my cam on a 5.3l 03 sierra rcsb which i use for work. i wanna get a lil bit more power for now. i drive 8hrs to get to work every 2 weeks. i was wondering whats a good cam to get power out of without having troubles. dont mind losing a lil mpg

That cam is not a direct cam only swap - You'll need new valve springs for that cam and recommend a trunion kit for the rockers as well. Might as well get LS7 lifters and some decent pushrods while you're at it too.

They make a low lift version too, but I haven't heard of anyone having issues with pac 1218 springs and that cam
