Default LY6 question

I purchased a LY6 short block that had a lifter seize up...no visible damage to the block or lifter bores. The outer cam bearing looks like it may have had a little piece of metal floating around it so i will be changing the cam bearings out. My question is if I'm going to take off the rod caps and the mains to check the bearings for damage would i be ok changing to arp hardware (main studs and rod bolts) with the std bearings? or will the bearings need to be re sized?

Thanks.

I bought ARP rod bolts for my LY6. I plan on not resizing them, but I will be measuring them to be on the safe side.

Install the ARP main studs and bolts and torque them to spec then take your measurements of the mains bores ID. The ARP studs will most likely change the ID of the main bores requiring it to be honed out.
