Are the rod journals rolled up in the corner? Most aftermarket tri-metal high performance bearings are going to have the chamfered edge... I know the clevite ms2199h mains and clevite cb663hn rod bearings have the necessary clearance/chamfered edge for forged cranks

Okay.... Well, all the high performance bearings have the extra clearance for the chamfered edges

I'm ordering one on Friday when I get back home! What rods are you running, and who's doing your converter setup?

I ask on the converter, because the lsa crank has the 8 bolt design where the flexplate mounts to the crank... No biggie, because the factory lsa flexplate is super stout and only $50 brand new! But, the six bolt pattern on the lsa flexpkate, where the converter bolts to, is a little diffrent than the regular 80e flexplate six bolt pattern... It's either a little larger or smaller.... Atleast this is what Chris at circle d told me... Said it was no big deal to put a lsa billet cover on the converter, so I could run everything with the lsa crank and factory Gm lsa flexplate...

I don't know? Chris at circle d told me I would have to use the ctsv billet front cover on my converter because it was a diffrent width 6 bolt mounting pattern for the lsa flexplate.... Compared to the 80e 6 bolt mounting pattern? Hell, maybe he was wrong about the converter patterns being diffrent?

Nope chris is right now that I think about it... my converter was built with only 3 mounting pads and 3 bolt holes on each one. I believe the LSA flex plate is made with the 60e diamater with 6 mounting pads.

If you have a 80e converter made with a 60e 3 bolt base you will be fine.

Now as far as what you should do Kurt... that's another question.
