Which "LS" crate motors are the best swaps for NBS trucks?
Looking for opinions on which LS crate motors are the easiest/best swaps for NBS trucks? Taking into consideration electronics, harness adapters, extenders, converters from 58x to 24x reluctor wheels, knock sensor relocation and so on. Which ones can be done reasonably easy, all the way to difficult swaps and what it will take to make them work correctly. I'm new to the LS world and looking to soak up some info. Thanks in advance.

I have an Lq9 in there now and looking to do something a little different. I quess I'm wondering more about the ls3,ls7 maybe lsa.?.? Your right there are a lot of different crate motors to elaborate on them all. I should have worded that better. So it looks like between the Gen 3,4,5 it's the lq4,lq9,ls2,ls3,ls7 and the LSA. Like I said, just looking to learn some good information from knowledgable people here.

Yes I'm pretty sure that the direction in going to go. I lucked out and picked up a complete brand new L92 intake manifold from a new crate motor so I'm going to go with square port heads. Iv decided to build a 370 with the forged Pistons, l92 intake manifold, 90mm TB, 42# injectors, custom Pat G cam, and a set of TFS GenX 255 heads milled to 64cc. I'm hoping to make 450whp. Most people I talk to say It should make that pretty easy or more.
