What part of Arkansas are you from? I am orignally from the Fort Smith area......
If it was knocking before pulled you need to at least pull the pain and determine which bearing(s) are the culprit. Hopefully its a rod bearing but in my case it was a main bearing and I had to scrap the block. If the stock crank is not hurt then I would just rock that unless your planning a 1000hp build.

I haven't decided. Prolly NA for awhile but will have boost or spray one day. And I'm from malvern/hot springs area.
I also need to know what pistons to run! Input would help!

Its really impossible to tell you what pistons to run without knowing the future setup along with a target compression. With milled 243's your obviously looking to build a higher compression setup so you will also want to take into account your cam selection as well to make sure you dont have PTV issues.
I would pick a target compression, find pistions that will get that compression, then find a cam that will not have PTV issues. If you plan on boost or spary then forged would be best for insurance down the road.
My wife and I really like the Hot Springs area. That is actually one of our favorite places to visit because its close enough to Dallas to make a weekend trip out of it.
