I am having a missfire in cylinder 4, I changed plugs wires and coils. Still the missfire. I switched fuel injecters for cylinder 4 and 2. Still cylinder 4. I havnt pulled the cover off yet but I'm pretty sure it's a broken spring. What spring would u guys recomend? I'm going to do a cam swap in a few weeks too. My new cam will be a cam dr. 232 236 113 with lsl lobes 613 617 lift I beileve

Pull the cover. I don't get out much but I have never heard of a broken patriot gold spring.

Ok if it was a pushrod that wouldn't be so bad. I think I'm going to go out there now and pull the cover

I've seen broken patriots. Not often, but I have. Go with a PAC 1518 spring for a set of replacements. Put near indestructable

Did you use the partiot spring seats and valve seals or the stockers?

Patriots are high maintenance, the are supposed to be checked every 10,000 miles for correct spring rates.

Just throwing that out there, but i have never heard of a broken one.
