spent some time reading up on cams today, the 220 is defenitly a good cam im just wondering if its a little to big for that heavy CC with 20/s and no stall. i guess I was leaning towards the 212/218 114 or is that to small leaving some power on the table sorta speak

The 220 is too much for that truck with no converter.

I'd go with a custom grind.

How do you use the truck? How many miles per year? Any idea on desired shift points? How about idle, Do you want to hear it? Any other mods on the truck, like headers?

its the wifes dd, we dont pull anything, she is on it from time to time. when she has some road rage or husband rage. she puts about 12k a year on it. smooth idle, i have no idea about the shift points, i do know she wants a smooth shift. she complains about my truck shifting hard all the time

I think the 212/218 on a 114+2 is probally a good all around cam for what you're looking for. Won't sacrifice Low end and works with a stock convertor.
