Default Cam swap on 08 Silverado 5.3L

I am new at this and could use some advice on what Cam I should go with.
I have an 08 Siverado 1500 with K&N Intake at MBRP Dual Exhaust. I was looking at one with a lift around .580 and a LSA of .114.
I am going to do a Nelson Custom tune with it and will get a stall converter if needed but would like to stay stock if it's possible.
Was looking at this, Comp Cams XFI XE R LS LS1 LS2 LS6 Cam Lunati Dual Spring Kit 224 230 581 588 | eBay[/COLOR]
Is this a good cam and springs for the price?
Like I said, I am new at this any any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

I'm into VOLATILE PERFORMANCE customs camshaft
Russell Barber An honest man he will help u if u ask him
i used his camshaft on my 5.3
(N/A , supercharger , now i will order for my twin turbo truck)

custom designed cams, dual valve springs, seals, locks, retainers, spring cups, and pushrods is 900$
i used 228/228 (N/A) with 5.3
same this camshaft
simba cortez :

if u install camshaft and change the converter to 3000 stall u will see difference

don't be quick in your choice

Do you just daily drive, tow, run at the track, race lots of mustangs on the street lol?

Something around the 210/218 212/218 is the smaller side with lots of low end tq <2500rpms and a solid improvement over stock top end with raised shift points. Something around a 220/220 224/228 is starting to get more on the race side and less dd manners. A stall will help fix this anything larger than a 230 duration in a 5.3L is more of a track truck than a dd mannered. IMO

i just dropped an afm lifter in my 09 5.3, did the dod delete, didnt have vvt on 09, did a cam swap and headers while i was at it, put a comp 216/220 and i love it, not much on the low end but really digs down at 2200 rpm. no stall just a tune.

I almost went this route on my cam swap, love the sound of that 216/220, but I needed the lowend for towing the boat during summers.
