where and what brand piston rings should i get?

Default where and what brand piston rings should i get?

im currently gathering parts for a LQ9 build. i have the pistons and rods, i just need to know what brand should i go with for the rings and where can i get them at? also i want to replace all the bearings, same question what brand and where can i get them. thanks fellas

on a side note, if anybody knows of any good 6.0 bare blocks and a stock 6.0 crank, lemme know. thanks

I would recommend Total Seal, I am sure Texas speed has them. -Adam @ Callies

What piston exactly are you running? A part number would help, but yea, I'm sure we can find something for ya on the rings, and we stock all the bearings and such you might need/want!

I'v always used akerly and childs. never had a problem yet.

its the stock LQ9 piston that came in the SS silverados. I believe it has the teflon coating on the sides of it

What year LQ9? The LS2 and LQ9 had 2 series of pistons, but were flat-tops but the major difference was a change in rings (1.5/1.5/3 vs 1.2/1.5/2.5).

i believe 2004. said they came off a 04 SS
