TSP lt' ory early review
Just installed the tsp long tubes, and ory yesterday. Left stock cat back. Not 100% sure if it's the sound in looking for or not, but that's all personal preference.
The install went a lot smother than expected, the only difficult issues i ran into were, on the passenger side, i had my arms crossed up cause I'm right handed, and drivers side rear bolt required a wrench to get as opposed to a socket.
On instalation, again, the passenger side was easy, on the drivers side, i ended up removing the spark plugs just in case, and also disconnected the steering shaft to make things easier. Not sure that was even necessary.
Its almost as if tsp took the time to check ease of installation.
None of my plug wires seem to be too close to primaries, much less toughing as ive run into on other trucks with other headers.
The ory went on without a hitch as well.
I did have to pull the o2 wire plugs off the keepers, and i tywrapped the wires out the way just in case.
I havent had much seat time to get butt dyno reports ready, but on the way to work this am it seemed as though i was getting better than usual economy. Im sure that will drop some until the new wears off.
Now just to decide what to do for "cat (less)" back exhaust....
