I totally agree, I'm checking mine as soon as it warms back up a bit. If they are bad I will chuck mine in the lathe and cut'em.

DS was like $648 and change shipped. Denny said he had some kind of sale going n wen i called him a couple weeks ago. I went with his recommendation and got a 4 inch aluminum with 1350 joints. I guess ill post a pic when i get it. I'm sure there will be plenty to say i should've just gone ahead with 5 inch or whatever, but if i can ever get rid of the shakes maybe i can finally add some f'ing power.

When they finally get rid of the pos 4l60 and switch to a reliable 6l80 then they **** up something else in the drivetrain. Is it too much to ask for something that works when you're paying big bucks for a new one? Gm needs to up their game. They do offer a lot of engineering for the price but damn!

Yeah I think I'm going to eventually fix the vibration issue and just drive it as is. Its not fast but plenty quick enough light to light and very enjoyable for a dd. If I want something fast its gonna be an earlier model for sure. These are still too spendy for the return.

I finally had enough of the shakes. The truck is headed to Bryan at GTD on the 29th. New 5" aluminum drive shaft with 1410 joints and forged yolks. Going from 3.08 to 3.42 with Auburn pro series limited slip. Last but not least 1541H alloy axles. If this dont fix it , ya'll get to see it on 6:30 news going off a cliff!
