I have that package but with 22s. I wish I had 3.73s at least but cant really complain. As far as the 8speed, im coming over from a vette that also had the same transmission so im used to it, guess thats why I havent noticed the same issues are others here. I eventually want to tune it, but still waiting to see if the transmission acts up.

I'll be the devil, the 8-speed sucks.
The hunting and pecking for gears, clanking etc.. is gone with a tune. Still too many gears it's never in the sweet spot for any type of driving.
I drive in the city in 5th and 7th hwy, which is the same as having 4.10's if in 6th and 8th.

Mine was 8 speed and 3.23's and it shifted stupid with either my stock 18's or 22's on it... same OD tire more or less. Works fine for me... I have in the last couple months put more money than I paid for that 2015 new into my 04 GMC 3/4 ton anyway lol.
