[QUOTE=CooperS7777;5298500]There wont be a part number for these, but they will be available (built to order) to anyone who wants a set. The spindles are out for heat treating now, and should be finished up by the end of next week. Im hoping to do the full install shortly after the 4th.
Who is making the spindles?

I emailed Belltech about this too. I was told it would be another 11 months until the spindles for the aluminum control arms would be in production. He recommended using these lowering struts in the meantime Belltech Sport Trucks and Muscle Cars

Sorry for not catching up everyone sooner.
Here is the finished product from Michigan Metal Works. These spindles themselves should yield about 1.5" of drop, for a total for 3.5-4" drop when paired with appropriate shocks.
That said...I am willing to sell this set if someone is interested. I will post a F/S thread soon, but figured Id start here. I began having nasty vibration issues with my truck that GM could not solve, so it is going to a new home at the end of the week. Unfortunately I was not able to use these before hand.

So is the taper on the ball joints bigger or the whole joint itself? Can they be pressed out an install another joint. I would like to install the aluminium arms on my dropped 2wd RCSB to drop some weight.

The taper, and the joint itself are larger so far as I can tell. Though I have not had both in front of my simultaneously; I know from talking with Taylor at MMW that the aluminum arm ball joints absolutely wont fit the steel arm trucks; which leads me to believe they also have a larger taper.

Here are some pictures of the upper arms. Aluminum vs. steel. From the top side, they look the same size where it is pressed into the arms. But the taper is totally different sizes. I am sure the lowers are the same way. I don't have any of those to photo. I work a or a Chevy dealership, and we have been putting lift kits on some trucks. The lift kits we are installing come with different upper arms. Sorry the pics aren't the greatest, cell phone pics, and mobile app.
