Well...

I can't shake the haul *** bug, and our sponsor bought us a tow rig and a much bigger trailer so I will have all the room I need for the races, so I have no reason to upgrade really. Soooo, for now I'm keeping her and modding!

Pacesetter 1 7/8" headers custom ORY MBRP CATBACK all 3"

She's all done now and my first impression is DAMN!!

This truck has always run good, even stock. With just a converter it was pretty stout... Now, with the headers and ORY there is a noticeable torque jump. The throttle response change is also very noticeable. I did a few quick pulls on the highway, 50-115 was just sick, Did another 30-80 pull it blew my mind how quick it was gathering up speed. For a basically stock vehicle this thing is a beast. So much more powerful than my past 5.3 truck. The old style 5.3s don't hold a candle to these!

She's not tuned yet, Sam Miller will do the tuning soon... No before numbers, after numbers will be posted when they are available.

I've got pics on my phone but can't post them from there, I'll get them up tomorrow when I get to my laptop, I'll get some video too. At idle it sounds just like it did with the stock manifolds and y pipe with the MBRP cat back. At start up its got a bigger roar but it settles down quick. Under a load it has a nice healthy sound, doesn't sound like a headers/exhaust LS1 engine at all which I love!! This thing is MEAN!

Headers installed: only plug wire to have even a remote clearance issue was #3, it wasn't to bad, just flipped the upper connector and that fixed the issue.

Huge thanks to Billy at BRM in Burleson, Texas. Other than myself he is the only person to then a wrench on this truck and it will stay that way for the duration of its existence as long as I own it. Billy's work is second to none, he's a damn good guy and his prices are as good as it gets.
