Dynoed a 6.2 and power peaks early

Haven't bothered to redyno it.
Logged it and the engine looks fine... intake restriction is minimal at maybe 4 KPA so it's not the air filter or anything.
Went back to get a transmission stumble it started doing after the tune fixed and it actually was worse yet when I left.... So I opened up the tune and fixed it so it's livable for now..... Hp still only allows so much for the TM aspects being on or off.... lol. Shift rpm and mph interact and fight... I want a 5800 rpm shift in first and even with stock settings it will do it once or twice and then drop to 5500 rpm...... stupid thing. And that's the stock shift RPM it shows for WOT in first anyway.... 5800..... not 5500 lol. Chris and I will figure it out I imagine.
I added the Corvette cam timing tables myself along the way and they seemed to help pick up a little power over the truck ones even at higher rpm..... Logs again look great and the truck feels good. Otherwise I just drive the bag off it!
I am going to hack up my airbox like the intake mod thread too... did it on my 05 and got good results! Just won't open it up anywhere where water could get into it... which into the fender it won't.

Naw... I will never redyno it... they are useless obviously anyhow. Makes no power on that retard dyno but runs bottom 14's at a 2000 foot DA. Runs good at the track (or did) and that's all I care. I gutted the airbox and it might have helped.. doubtful but you never know. It pulls just fine when the tune isn't being an idiot at high rpm so that's likely the issue... didnt work good with all the torque management functions toggled off. I recently had a massive airleak downstream of the maf...
So I discovered that gem and my intake manifold was a dirt filled wonder so I tore off the intake manifold for fun ( the engine cover is harder to get off than the damn manifold itself because how they clip the harnesses to the back of it) and cleaned it. I fixed the airbox by heating it and sealed it all up the way it should be so hopefully it be good for a while lol.
No I don't know how it got like that... should have needed heat to do it but nothing hot there touches it. .. who knows. It's a more recent development long after this dyno stuff I wrote about here... I have that junk apart quite often lol. It might have somehow twisted over and rested on the coolant jug as that base likes to come loose from the fender. The depression was right where the screw portion of the clamp was.
Another young guy I know has a 2016 6.2 truck... crew stump 4x4 that's bone stock still. He took it the track and his best was low 15's lol. Needless to say he has a lot more issues than I do.
