Yup. A Hemi Ram dynoed right after me and pulled right to 5700 rpm or so. It's not the dyno. I am going back and forth with another 6.2 owner on a different forum and his isn't much different...... peaks at like 5 grand and gains nothing afterwards.... doesn't lose until 5600 or so but doesn't gain a thing..... His is now tuned, afe intake, headers and whatever else and the power band is identical to his stock runs just with more power. He is in the process of pulling off his stock intake manifold and switching it with the Atomic Airforce manifold. The truck intake manifold on these engines really sucks ***** lol. I would maybe swap the intake manifold on mine and wake it up.... but for over $1100 USD for an intake manifold I think I can live with how my truck runs as is.

I might do some logs eventually here soon and then swap my air intake as it wouldn't surprise me if the stock airbox chokes it a bit..... they aren't even as open as the GMT900 boxes were. I am not unhappy with how the truck feels so it's not the end of the world.

Maybe if u swapped in a 12 valve it would net you more satisfying results?

HP & torque ALWAYS cross on a graph at 5252 rpm. On that graph its 44-4500 or so and hp peaks maybe 600 later? That graph is off. Not saying you cant have a problem but the graph is not accurate unless I cant see it plainly.

Its actually dead on.... it's all scaling thus the crossover being thrown off. Look at my hp value at 5252 and then my torque at 5252... the values are the same.

Rpm matches the curves just fine. The sidebar scale for hp and torque numbers aren't the same so you don't see them cross is all. Truck still is a dog at high rpm.

Rpm matches the curves just fine. The sidebar scale for hp and torque numbers aren't the same so you don't see them cross is all. Like look at the line that is 275 ft lbs... its 217 hp... To make them cross correctly in the picture at 5252 they need to be the same hp and torque increments up the side of the graph. Like 200 hp is 200 ft lbs on the same line.. 250 is 250... 300 is 300 and etc.

Truck still is a dog at high rpm and I will solve it myself... as usual lol. My answers aren't a Google search away... but I will update at least one forum post somewhere so that if someone else has this issue... it is a Google search away lol.

I see what you mean now thanks....little slow sometimes lol. Really sorry you're having to go through this with a new truck. I'm kinda thinking Vortec is right about the cam phasing. Seems the most likely to me. Wish you the very best with this brother.

It might be which would be in the tune. I think it's 8 to 10 degrees of retard I should be seeing at this rpm. If it's not achieving that then it could be a mechanical thing but I have my doubts. I think it's a lot simpler. ... like my paper filter and airbox. I might just undo the lid and run it without a filter and see what that does. I need to see what the tuner is doing on Friday and if he fixed the dyno yet lol.
