It brake stalls to 3000rpm with traction control off, what do you guys with stock converters get on the brakes with TC off on the stocker?

I feel like maybe it could be a little looser, what do you guys that have done a converter in a '14 think, what do you have, etc.
Have you run at the track with that converter? What are your 60' times?

I haven't yet, once I get some free time after race season and get some sticky tires I'll get some times.

I've been running Circle-D's triple disk converters for 4yrs and it improved my MPGs and 60ft well lets just say its sub 1.50s

Single disk will hurt MPGs from what we saw on Cheyenne_87's truck swapped a triple and way different truck.

The lockup clutch has nothing to do with your mpg's, or your 60 ft. Your comments make no sense at all.

There's a whole lot more about torque converter design besides the lockup clutch.

How so? Once it locks up my rpms drop to 1100 at 75mph. MPGs go up. Locking it has nothing to do with the 60fts at all I am aware. Rhino79 on here does all my tunning. Unlocked my MPGs do hurt.
Just sharing our experience with a single vs triple. locking the converter the way we've done actually helped with MPGs for daily driving.

.... Yes, when you lock the converter, RPM drops and you will most likely see MPG's go up. Having a single or triple disk converter makes zero difference. When they lock, they lock. Just because your triple disk can lock up at WOT safer than the single disk can, doesn't mean the single disk doesn't lock the same way the triple disk does.

You sacrifice mileage with a multi disc converter due to the extra weight. If mpg gains were seen after installing a multi disc converter, something else is/was at play.

gotcha, I'm no expert but we did notice the truck pulling more up top. Good to know.
