I have a friend who is the service manager for a large family of dealerships in the boston area and he told me GM is releasing a new bushing kit for the front aluminum a arms they believe will solve the issue. I'm not sure when it is due out, but thats the latest on this saga.

the vibration is coming from the rear of the truck, if were w front end issue you would feel it in the steering wheel. my 14 shook and had steel arms my 16 is smooth as silk.

I've had a lowering kit sitting here at the house for 6 months. I don't want to install it until this gets taken care of. I swapped my stock 17" steel wheels and tires out for some factory aluminum 20" wheels and tires. The new wheels and tires are a bit taller and a few inches wider. The speedo is off 2 miles per hour and the start of the vibe moved up two miles per hour and is worse. This to me suggests axle flanges are warped, bent, machined wrong or something along those lines. I'm gonna jack it up this weekend, pull the rear wheels and stick a dial indicator on the flanges and see if that shows me anything. It's just weird how that sometimes at all speeds it's smooth and other times it darn near rattled the center console out of the truck.

I have steel arms and it's shaking... it's definitely coming from the rear and I have also shimmed the rear of the tranny.
