Default 6.2 catback on 5.3? will it fit?

I know someone who bought an MBRP 3.5" catback and now they aren't going to run it. Will this bolt up to my 5.3 truck? MBRP's website doesn't have it listed that it fits all.

I don't believe it will fit, for 1, the 6.2L's have a larger cat pipe, not to mention larger diameter tubing. But who really knows? I had a 94 blazer 1 time with 97 military spec 2 door tahoe exhaust on it.

I didn't think the 5.3 and 6.2 exhaust were different on 14+. 07-13 they were 3.5"

^ ----Right! Lists as the same part number for both on GM parts direct.

20757701, 20757702 20757703 20757704, for CC 5'8" to RC 8' box...not in that order...

Just looked in the parts catalog, the converter pipe assembly for the 5.3L is different from the 6.2L, and so is the muffler.

Well that's weird...GMPD says the same part numbers...

Which is strange come to mention it...the tail pipe of the 6.2 is different...isn't that part of the muffler?

If I'm not mistakened GMPD is not a gm site, its run by a GM dealer, so the content may not be 100% correct. I just asked out parts guy if our catalog was up to date, and he said it was. We typically get parts catalogs updated at the first of each month.

Yeah...it may just not be updated...or completely out to lunch.

I am pretty sure GMPD is an after seller of GM parts too. But they usually have the right P/Ns for gm stuff.

No. The 5.3L trucks are a 2.75" ball flange and the 6.2L are 3" ball.
Might be close enough to fudge.
